Background Checks, Eligibility And Joining
Before any builder is introduced to a homeowner through My Build My Way, we complete a set of background checks. The aim is to filter for established residential builders who are a sensible fit for the kind of work we are introduced to.
What we look at
- Trading history and company information.
- Insurance and other documentation we would expect a working residential builder to have in place.
- References, reviews and examples of similar projects.
- How the builder communicates during the early stages.
Eligibility
We work with established residential builders covering London, Kent and the wider South East. Builders should be set up to handle the type and scale of project they want to receive enquiries for.
Joining arrangements
Any commercial arrangements connected to joining the network are explained clearly during the onboarding conversation, before a builder is activated for introductions. There is no obligation to proceed.
Important
Background checks help us filter for suitable builders. They do not guarantee the outcome of any individual project, which is governed by the contract the homeowner signs with their chosen builder.
