An Islington homeowner wanted a more ambitious brief: a mansard roof, a rear extension and a set of internal works to make the whole property work harder for everyday family life.

Adding space across the property.

The mansard added a usable upper floor, the rear extension reshaped the ground-floor living space, and the internal works tied the existing rooms into the new layout.
